Sorority promotion: Fashion and beauty product marketing

The years that a student spends at college are extremely important in the development of their identity.  Fashion and beauty are means of expression to young women but ironically fashion and beauty advice are rarely given.  Women must learn what styles flatter their body shape and what makeup and colors look best for their skin chemistry.

Harness the youth vote: Democrats target college students

In what is certain to be another close presidential election, the Democratic Party is hoping that a large turnout among young adults will solidify Barack Obama’s presidential nomination.  America’s youth has been particularly passionate for Barack Obama and the Party hopes that this election, young people will come out and vote in numbers.  With just over two months before the general election, a concentrated push to reach the 18-29 year old demographic is underway.

Go Green On Campus: Water and Energy Conservation

By taking simple steps, the average college student can significantly reduce the amount of water and energy they use on a daily basis.

Go Green On Campus- Water and Energy Conservation: Campus Solutions will be teaming up with brands to encourage college students to conserve water and energy through our clients’ on-campus initiatives. Acting as your brand ambassadors, our street teams will be providing college students with energy-saving fluorescent light bulbs.  These bulbs will replace existing light bulbs in the students’ residence halls, off-campus apartments, fraternity and sorority houses.  Two-sided branding will be available on the packaging material and your company’s street teams will be dressed in your company’s attire.  Each student will receive their energy-saving fluorescent light bulb as well as your company’s marketing material and/or sample.

Students can use less energy by shutting down their computers at the end of the day and unplugging cell phone chargers whenever possible.  Adjusting the thermostat just a degree or two (warmer in warmer months, cooler in cool months) saves energy without much effort.

Other opportunities include water conservation competitions both on-campus and at off-campus bars and parties.  Turning off the water while brushing can save nearly 8 gallons of water per brush.  Branded giveaways promoting turning off the water while brushing will be provided to students with your company’s message and logo.

Campus Solutions, Inc. encourages our clients to consider methods to reduce energy consumption and conserve our natural resources on each college and off-campus event.  One strategy to conserve energy is utilizing pedal energy.  Bicycle pedal power creates enough energy for an event by transferring human energy into power.  A bicycle will be attached to a generator and your event will be powered by students.  This is also a great way to encourage student interaction and prizes may be awarded to students who bike for over five minutes.

Go Green On Campus- Recycling Program

Campus Solutions, Inc. is proud to announce that during the 2008-2009 school year, we are providing a number of unique methods for brands to go green on campus.  Our clients have the opportunity to promote environmental-responsibility among college students while increasing a brand’s exposure amongst this demographic.  With the support of our university and college partners, brands will be “going green” through comprehensive, earth-friendly programs designed to encourage active student support and personal responsibility.

Go Green On Campus- Recycling Program: A campus-wide recycling program will be established on campuses throughout the country.  Recycling bins will be placed on floors in residence halls and throughout campus, making recycling convenient and recycle those materials which would have otherwise been wasted.  Large recycling bins will be branded with your company’s logo and your company’s “go green” message.  During each semester, a comprehensive analysis representing the amount of resources recycled will be posted throughout campus.  To generate additional exposure, an art contest will be held on-campus, where students will compete for the winning art project compiled of only recycled material.

Go Green On Campus- Reusable beverage containers
