For both parents and students alike, Parents Weekend is a date marked on everyone’s calendar. In what is certain to be another close presidential election, the Democratic Party is hoping that a large turnout among young adults will solidify Barack Obama’s presidential nomination. One of the biggest college events of the summer will be a two-day concert event taking place in Athens, Georgia the weekend students arrive back on campus . Over 20,000 college students from University of Georgia, Gainesville College and Piedmont College are expected to be in attendance.
