The sport of outdoor volleyball has seen it’s popularity in the United States soar in recent years.  On college campuses, it is common to see teams of college men, women and coeds participating in a game of volleyball being played at one of the active fraternity houses or throughout campus.  Volleyball is the country’s 2nd most popular participation sport behind soccer.  At a college or university, groups of college students will attend a volleyball match to support their friends, fraternity brothers or sisters.

Coverage of Today’s Election Results On Campus

In what has been one of the most historic presidential election in this country, the response from the college community has been enormous.  As a college marketing company, we’ve had the opportunity to visit campuses across the country and witness first hand, the active support and opinions of college students.  Whether it’s Obama supporters; Young Democrats; College Dems; Declare Yourself and College Republicans; each group should be applauded for their efforts:

Colleges and universities have also been very active while taking a non-partisan approach.   In today’s election, colleges and universities are holding a number of events on campus where college students and faculty can watch the election results.

Here is a sampling of of coverage of today’s election results on campus:

  • Boston University is giving away free pizza and red, white and blue cupcakes.
  • New York University is holding events on plasma screens throughout campus.
  • University of Alabama is holding an election viewing party at the Ferguson Center where there will be a live DJ, student panel and live media coverage.
  • University of Florida is holding events in the Grand Ballroom and providing food and trivia throughout the evening.
  • University of Texas- student government is hosting a “Hook The Vote Election Watch Party.”  UT professors with be providing non-partisan analysis.

Go Green On Campus: Eco-friendly marketing materials

In June 2008, Campus Solutions, Inc. announced a number of green college marketing opportunities that effectively allows brands to go green on campus.  This unique college media allows our clients to market to college students while promoting a brand’s green image.

Parents Weekend- College Marketing Opportunity
